This range of “intelligent” range of single standard resistors illustrate Transmille’s resourcefulness. On calibration the value is determined and displayed. With knowledge of history (previous calibrations) the drift rate is known and so they can “self correct” with time. Obviously this does not replace the need for external calibration but lengthen the time between calibrations
